Pengamalan Amaliyah Tarekat Qodiriyah Naqsyabandiyah (Zikir, Khataman, Dan Manakib) Sebagai Sarana Pembinaan Spiritual Ikhwan Tqn Di Masjid Barokah Ciawi Tasikmalaya

Abstract

This community service activity aims to revitalize the practice of Qodiriyah Naqsyabandiyah order (TQN) traditions   dhikr, khataman, and manakib  among the congregation of Masjid Barokah, Ciawi, Tasikmalaya, whose spiritual routines had weakened following the pandemic period and generational change among the congregation. The activity was carried out in July 2026 through four stages: preparation and coordination with the mosque management (DKM), delivery of material on the history and philosophy of TQN Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya, guided practice of daily dhikr (jahar and khafi) combined with khataman held together every day after the maghrib prayer, and monthly manakib readings held on Saturday nights after the isha prayer, a few days after the central manakib at Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya (11th of hijriah month). Methods used include lectures, demonstration, guided practice, and participatory observation, supplemented by a short pre- and post-activity questionnaire and attendance records. The results show a marked increase in congregational understanding of the meaning and etiquette (adab) of dhikr, khataman, and manakib, along with a rise in attendance at the daily dhikr-and-khataman session from about 2 to about 10 participants, and at the monthly manakib session from about 40 to about 70 participants, figures that may vary in subsequent months. The activity also produced a simple routine schedule for dhikr, khataman, and manakib now adopted by the mosque management as a standing program. This service activity confirms that the TQN Suryalaya tradition can be transmitted effectively into a village-mosque setting when delivered through structured, participatory guidance rather than one-off lectures, and offers a replicable model for other mosques within the Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya spiritual network.
