This study aims to determine: (1) an overview of the implementation of differentiated learning in Indonesian Language subjects for fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bertingkat Mamajang 2 Makassar, (2) an overview of the level of self-regulated learning of fifth-grade students before and after the implementation of differentiated learning, and (3) the effect of differentiated learning on the self-regulated learning of fifth-grade students in Indonesian Language subjects. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research design used was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The independent variable in this study was differentiated learning, while the dependent variable was self-regulated learning. This study used two groups: the experimental group (VA, n=20) and the control group (VB, n=20), with a sampling technique using total sampling. Data collection techniques included self-regulated learning questionnaires, observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis consisting of normality tests (Shapiro-Wilk), homogeneity tests (Levene's Test), and hypothesis testing (Independent Sample t-test) with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics Version 32 program. The results of the study showed that: (1) the implementation of differentiated learning went very well, with an average implementation score of 94.23% (very good category); (2) the average self-regulated learning of the experimental group increased from 74.00 (pretest) to 85.10 (posttest), while the control group increased from 78.10 to 81.40; and (3) there was a significant effect of differentiated learning on self-regulated learning (t = -9.940; Sig. < 0.001). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of differentiated learning has an impact on improving the self-regulated learning of fifth-grade students in Indonesian Language subjects at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bertingkat Mamajang 2 Makassar.
