The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) implemented through Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) represents one of the priority policies of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, established under Presidential Regulation No. 83 of 2024. This program is designed as a strategic intervention to strengthen the foundation of Indonesia's human resource development, particularly for vulnerable groups such as school-age children, pregnant women, and toddlers. This study critically analyzes the implementation of the MBG-SPPG program in Suko Village, focusing on three main aspects: (1) the program's role in improving community nutrition quality, especially among the younger generation; (2) the program's impact on quality human resource development; and (3) the program's contribution to the social and economic aspects of the village community. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and policy document analysis. The findings indicate that the MBG-SPPG program in Suko Village makes meaningful contributions to improving children's nutritional status, increasing school attendance and learning concentration, and strengthening social cohesion and local economic activity through the involvement of MSMEs and village cooperatives. Nevertheless, structural challenges including limited production kitchen capacity, restricted menu variety, and suboptimal cross-sector coordination remain barriers to be addressed. The study recommends strengthening local regulations, enhancing SPPG capacity, and developing data-based monitoring systems as strategic steps to ensure program sustainability.
