The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has not only revolutionized humanity's material life but also prompted deep philosophical reflection on the ontological boundaries of the human. The science fiction film The Creator (2023), directed by Gareth Edwards, presents a complex narrative of conflict between humankind and AI entities. This study aims to analyze the representation of AI in the film using the framework of posthumanism. It employs a descriptive qualitative method with a film semiotics approach and critical discourse analysis. The analysis shows that The Creator deconstructs the rigid human–machine dichotomy. AI in the film is no longer represented as a cold mechanistic entity; instead, it possesses emotion, spirituality, and the capacity to create (to produce life), moving beyond the biological boundaries of the human. From the posthumanist perspectives of Braidotti and Hayles, the film represents a shift from anthropocentrism toward distributed subjectivity, in which the boundary between the organic and the synthetic becomes fluid. In conclusion, The Creatorfunctions as a critical allegory that questions human superiority and offers a posthuman vision in which coexistence and hybridization become an evolutionary necessity.
