The Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) is a government policy aimed at improving the nutritional status of the community, particularly vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and toddlers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG), its benefits in improving the health of pregnant women and supporting optimal growth of toddlers, and identify various challenges that affect the program's effectiveness in Damarsi Village, Buduran District. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving pregnant women, mothers of toddlers, integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, health workers, and the village government. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the MBG implementation has been running through coordination between the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), the village government, and health workers, thus being able to reach target groups in an organized manner. The program provides benefits in the form of increasing nutritional intake for pregnant women, preventing the risk of Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) and anemia, and supporting toddler growth by meeting better nutritional needs. In addition, the program also has an economic impact through the involvement of local labor and food suppliers. However, the program's effectiveness still faces challenges such as budget limitations, menu variety, human resource capacity, and suboptimal community participation. Based on Keynesian theory, MBG not only contributes to improving public health but also has the potential to create an economic multiplier effect by increasing local economic activity.
