Author Guidelines – Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL)

A. General Requirements

To meet the minimum standards of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL), submissions must follow these requirements:

  1. Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English and must include an abstract and keywords in English.

  2. The paper should be written in English and formatted on A4 size paper.

  3. The manuscript must be typed in two columns.

  4. Use single line spacing, with one space between lines.

  5. Margin format must follow the template: Top 1.9 cm, Bottom 4.13 cm, Left 1.43 cm, Right 1.43 cm, using mirror margins.

  6. Text must use Times New Roman, 10 pt, prepared using Microsoft Word.

  7. Figures must be numbered, with titles placed below the figure, single-spaced.

  8. Tables must be numbered, with titles placed above the table, single-spaced.

  9. Author information must include full affiliation details and the corresponding author’s email address.

  10. Manuscripts should be 6–10 pages in length. Papers exceeding 10 pages will be evaluated by the editors.

  11. Authors must use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote, and follow the APA citation style.

  12. Ensure the paper is formatted according to the Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL) template.

  13. Submissions must comply with the journal's Ethical Statement and Copyright and License Agreement.


B. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts submitted to JIBIDAL should follow this structure:

1. Title

  • Written in sentence case, without acronyms or abbreviations.

  • Must clearly reflect the focus and scope of the study.

2. Abstract

  • Maximum 250 words, written in Times New Roman, single-spaced.

  • Should not contain citations.

  • Must summarize: background, problem, proposed solution, research design, methods, results, analysis, and conclusion.

3. Section Structure (IMRaD)

Introduction

  • Explain the importance and rationale of the research.

  • Present the research context, problem, gap analysis, relevant literature, and how the study addresses the gap.

  • State hypotheses (if applicable) at the end of the section.

Methods

  • Describe research procedures in detail: population, sample, methods, instruments, and analytical tools.

  • Must be sufficiently detailed to allow replication.

  • Typically includes subheadings and is written in past tense using passive voice.

Results and Discussion

  • Present research findings (Results) using past tense, including tables and figures with correct labeling (table titles above, figure titles below).

  • In the Discussion, interpret findings, relate them to previous studies, explain limitations, and propose future research directions.

Conclusion

  • Summarize the key findings briefly.

  • Explain whether the results support the research claims, relate them to previous work, and highlight contributions to scientific knowledge.

References

  • Must include at least 20 references, with a minimum of 5 references published within the last 10 years, unless older sources are required for theoretical reasons.

  • Authors are responsible for reference accuracy.

  • Editors reserve the right to make adjustments for grammar and clarity.
