Peer Review Process

The initial review of the submitted manuscript is conducted by the editors of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL). During this desk evaluation, the editorial team assesses whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope, evaluates similarity using Crosscheck-iThenticate, examines methodological soundness, readability, and adherence to the journal’s template. If the manuscript passes this stage, it is forwarded to at least two anonymous reviewers for a Blind Peer Review.

The anonymous reviewers’ comments and recommendations are then communicated to the corresponding author, who is responsible for submitting revisions and responses. After the revision is received, the editorial team evaluates the updated manuscript and discusses a final recommendation. The Editor then conveys the final decision to the corresponding author. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout editing to prepare the camera-ready version.

Review Outcomes

Based on insights gained during the peer review process, the Editor of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL) makes the final publication decision. The standard review timeline ranges from 4 to 8 weeks. The possible decisions include:

1. Reject

The manuscript is rejected and will not be published. Authors may not resubmit a revised version to JIBIDAL.

2. Resubmit for Review

The manuscript requires substantial revisions and must undergo a second round of review before acceptance can be considered.

3. Accept with Revisions

The manuscript is accepted with the condition that the authors complete Minor or Major Revisions. The editorial team reviews the revised manuscript to confirm that required improvements have been made.

4. Accept

The manuscript is accepted in its current form and will proceed directly to publication without the need for further modification.

All correspondence concerning manuscripts should be directed to the Editor of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL) and cc to admin@sihojurnal.com.
The Editor will communicate with the corresponding author, who is responsible for sharing information with all co-authors.
In addition to review-related communication, accepted manuscripts may require further correspondence regarding copyediting and layout editing.
