Author Ethics

1. Reporting

Authors must present the research process and results to the editor of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL) honestly, clearly, and comprehensively, and store research data properly and securely.

2. Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, written by the authors themselves, based on their ideas, and not plagiarized from the works or ideas of others. Authors are strictly prohibited from attributing other people's work as their own.

3. Redundant Submission

Authors must confirm that the manuscript has not been submitted to any other journal or publication. If redundancy is detected, the manuscript will be rejected.

4. Authorship

Authors must ensure they meet authorship criteria in accordance with academic standards and the field of publication. The corresponding author is responsible for communication and resolving any issues during the editorial process.

5. Correction of Errors

Authors should promptly notify the editor if errors are discovered in the submitted manuscript—such as incorrect names, affiliations, data, or other components affecting accuracy and credibility. Corrections must be handled immediately.

6. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research, analysis, or interpretation of the manuscript.


Editor Ethics

1. Publication Decision

Editors of Jurnal Ilmu Bisnis Digital (JIBIDAL) must conduct a thorough, transparent, objective, fair, and wise evaluation process as the basis for manuscript acceptance or rejection. Editorial decisions are made collectively by the editorial board.

2. Information Management

Editors must ensure the effective and clear use, management, and distribution of both printed and electronic information related to the journal.

3. Peer-Review Distribution

Editors are responsible for assigning manuscripts to qualified reviewers and managing the peer-review process efficiently.

4. Objectivity and Neutrality

Editors must maintain neutrality and fairness in evaluating manuscripts, without discrimination based on gender, business interests, ethnicity, religion, race, or nationality.

5. Confidentiality

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all manuscript-related information, including author identities and manuscript content, except for authorized parties involved in the review process.

Editors must avoid conflicts of interest to maintain an impartial and transparent evaluation and publication process.


Reviewer Ethics

1. Objectivity and Neutrality

Reviewers must provide evaluations that are honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and committed to scientific integrity, without discrimination based on gender, business affiliations, ethnicity, religion, race, or nationality.

2. Source Clarity

Reviewers should ensure that citations and references used in the manuscript are accurate, credible, and appropriate. Any detected errors or irregularities must be reported to the editor for author correction.

3. Review Timeliness

Reviewers must complete manuscript evaluations within the allotted peer-review timeline (maximum 2 weeks) and promptly inform the editorial team if delays are anticipated.

Reviewers must avoid conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity of the review process.
