Copyright and Licensing Policy

Journal of Advanced Engineering and Technology Research (JODETOS)

Authors who publish their work in the Journal of Advanced Engineering and Technology Research (JODETOS) agree to the following conditions:

1. Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright over their manuscripts. By submitting their work to JODETOS, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This license permits others to:

  • share,

  • distribute,

  • remix,

  • adapt, and

  • build upon the work

as long as proper credit is given to the original authors and to JODETOS as the place of first publication.

2. Additional Distribution Rights

Authors may establish separate, non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of their article—for example:

  • depositing it in institutional repositories,

  • storing it on personal or academic websites,

  • including it in books or teaching materials,

provided that the initial publication in JODETOS is clearly acknowledged.

3. Preprint and Online Posting

JODETOS encourages authors to disseminate their manuscripts online—such as through:

  • preprint servers,

  • institutional repositories,

  • personal academic websites,

both before submission and during the review process.

Early dissemination supports scholarly communication, encourages constructive feedback, and increases the visibility and citation potential of the work.
