Archive Policy
The Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Matematika Indonesia (MATEDO) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, security, and integrity of all published scholarly content. To achieve this objective, MATEDO implements the following archiving and digital preservation policies:
Digital Preservation
MATEDO employs appropriate digital preservation strategies to ensure the long-term availability and security of all published articles. Published content is stored in secure digital repositories and journal management systems to protect against accidental loss, data corruption, system failure, or technological obsolescence.
Accessibility
All articles published in MATEDO are made freely available to readers immediately upon publication in accordance with the journal's Open Access Policy. The journal supports the unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge to researchers, academics, educators, students, mathematics education practitioners, policymakers, and the wider public.
Metadata Archiving
Comprehensive metadata for each published article is maintained and archived to support accurate indexing, discoverability, citation tracking, and interoperability with academic databases and search engines.
Archived metadata may include:

- Keywords
- DOI information, if available

Version Control
MATEDO maintains appropriate version control procedures to document revisions, corrections, updates, and retractions when necessary. These procedures are intended to maintain transparency, accountability, and the integrity of the scholarly record.
Any post-publication changes to an article will be appropriately documented and, where applicable, linked to the original publication.
Backup and Recovery
Regular backup procedures are implemented to protect journal content, article files, and metadata against data loss, hardware or system failures, cyber threats, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Backup copies are maintained in secure environments to support efficient restoration of journal content when required.

MATEDO supports the use of recognized digital preservation systems and repositories to ensure the continued accessibility and preservation of published scholarly content. Where available and applicable, the journal may utilize:
- OJS PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
- CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
- Institutional repositories
- National and international scholarly repositories
- Academic indexing and preservation databases
Compliance with International Standards
The Archive Policy of MATEDO follows recognized best practices for digital preservation, scholarly publishing, and long-term management of academic content.

Permanent Availability
MATEDO is committed to maintaining long-term and, whenever possible, permanent access to all published articles. In the event that publication of the journal is discontinued, the editorial team will make reasonable efforts to ensure the continued availability of archived content through trusted preservation services, repositories, or other appropriate digital preservation systems.
Through these archiving and preservation practices, the Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Matematika Indonesia (MATEDO) aims to preserve the scholarly record and support the sustainable dissemination and accessibility of research and knowledge in the field of mathematics education.
