Peer Review Process

The initial review of the submitted manuscript is conducted by the editors. During this desk evaluation, it is determined whether the manuscript is suitable for the Jurnal Ilmu Sosial, Pendidikan, Sains, Ekonomi dan Teknik (SONONI) based on its focus and scope, similarity score using Crosscheck-iThenticate, methodological soundness, readability, and adherence to the journal's manuscript template.

If deemed suitable, the manuscript is sent to at least two anonymous reviewers for a Blind Peer Review process.

The anonymous reviewers' comments are then communicated to the corresponding author, who is responsible for making the necessary revisions and providing responses to the reviewers' comments. The editorial team subsequently discusses the revised manuscript and recommends a final decision.

Finally, the Editor communicates the final decision to the corresponding author. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare the camera-ready version of the paper prior to publication.

Review Outcomes

Based on feedback from the peer-review process, the Editor makes the final publication decision. The review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. The possible decisions are:

Reject

Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version to the Jurnal Ilmu Sosial, Pendidikan, Sains, Ekonomi dan Teknik (SONONI).

Resubmit for Review

The manuscript requires substantial revisions and must undergo another round of peer review before it can be considered for acceptance.

Accept with Revisions

Manuscripts receiving an "Accept with Revisions" decision must complete either Minor Revisions or Major Revisions before publication. The revised manuscript will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure that all required corrections have been adequately addressed.

Accept

Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form without requiring further modifications.

All correspondence concerning submitted manuscripts should be directed to the Editor of the Jurnal Ilmu Sosial, Pendidikan, Sains, Ekonomi dan Teknik (SONONI) and copied (cc) to admin@sihojurnal.com.

The Editor will direct all communication to the corresponding author, who is responsible for communicating relevant information to all co-authors.

In addition to correspondence related to the peer-review process, accepted manuscripts may require further communication during the copyediting, proofreading, and layout editing stages prior to publication.
