B. Structure of the Manuscript
Manuscripts submitted to IGATI should be organized as follows:
Title
The title should clearly reflect the focus of the study in animal science, fisheries, or aquatic sciences, written in sentence case and avoiding acronyms or abbreviations.
Abstract
The abstract should concisely summarize the manuscript in no more than 250 words, single-spaced, using Times New Roman. It should not contain citations and must include the research background, objectives, methods, main results, discussion highlights, and conclusions.
Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords, separated by commas and arranged alphabetically.
Introduction
Describe the background, significance, and objectives of the study. Include relevant literature review, identify research gaps, and explain how the study contributes to advances in animal and aquatic sciences. Hypotheses may be stated at the end of this section, if applicable.
Methods
Explain the research methodology in sufficient detail to allow replication. This section may include study location, materials, experimental design, sampling methods, data collection, analytical techniques, and statistical analysis. The methods should be written in the past tense and preferably in passive voice.
Results and Discussion
Present research findings clearly using tables and figures where appropriate, with captions placed above tables and below figures. The discussion should interpret the results, compare them with previous studies, explain their implications, and highlight limitations as well as directions for future research.
Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and emphasize their scientific contribution to animal science, fisheries, or aquatic sciences. Clearly state whether the research objectives were achieved and how the findings advance existing knowledge.
Acknowledgment (optional)
Acknowledge funding agencies, institutional support, or individuals who contributed significantly to the research but are not listed as authors.
References
The manuscript must include at least 20 references, with a minimum of five references published within the last ten years, primarily from peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, or reputable scholarly sources. All references must be formatted according to APA Style (7th Edition).
