Plagiarism
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Integrated Animal and Aquatic Sciences (IGATI) are subject to plagiarism screening prior to the peer-review process. The editorial team will immediately reject any manuscript found to contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
Before a manuscript is forwarded to reviewers, the editorial office conducts a similarity check using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, Crosscheck–iThenticate, or equivalent tools.
Manuscripts submitted to IGATI must meet the following similarity requirements:
-
The overall similarity index must not exceed 25%, excluding references.
-
The similarity from any single source must not exceed 1%.
Manuscripts that exceed these thresholds will be returned to the author(s) for revision or rejected outright, depending on the extent of the overlap.
