Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
The initial evaluation of submitted manuscripts is conducted by the editors. During this desk review, the editors determine whether the manuscript aligns with the focus and scope of Jurnal Ilmu Bimbingan dan Konseling (BIKOLING). This assessment includes checks for:
- Similarity score using Crosscheck-iThenticate,
- Methodological soundness,
- Readability, and
- Adherence to the journal's paper template.
If deemed suitable, the manuscript is sent to at least two anonymous reviewers for a Blind Peer Review.
The reviewers' feedback is communicated to the corresponding author, who is responsible for revising the manuscript and providing a response to the reviewers' comments. The editorial team then discusses and recommends a final decision regarding the revised manuscript. The Editor communicates this final decision to the corresponding author. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare the camera-ready version.
