Climate change is an environmental issue that can affect people's lives and the economy. Changes in weather conditions can disrupt agricultural activities, trade, and the operations of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). These conditions may reduce people's income and increase the risk of economic losses. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic economics in helping communities address the impacts of climate change on the economy. The method used is qualitative research with a literature review approach by collecting and examining journal articles and other scientific sources relevant to the research topic. The findings show that Islamic economics can support community economic resilience through productive zakat, productive waqf, and green sukuk. The principles of Islamic economics, which emphasize justice, public benefit, and environmental responsibility, also support efforts to maintain community welfare and environmental sustainability. Productive zakat can help people develop their businesses, productive waqf can support activities that provide long-term benefits, while green sukuk can support the financing of environmentally friendly projects. These three instruments have different roles but can complement one another when managed properly and according to community needs. Therefore, Islamic economics can be one approach to helping communities address the economic impacts of climate change while supporting sustainable development. Its implementation requires cooperation among the government, relevant institutions, and communities to ensure that its benefits can be maximized.
