Author Guidelines
A. General Requirements
To meet the publication standards of Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Biologi dan IPA (MUBIPA), all submissions must adhere to the following requirements:

Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English and must include an abstract and keywords in English.

The paper must be formatted on A4-sized pages.

The text should be typed in two columns format.

Single line spacing should be used, with one space between lines.

Page margins must be set as follows: Top 1.9 cm, Bottom 4.13 cm, Left 1.43 cm, and Right 1.43 cm, using mirror margins.

The manuscript must be prepared in Times New Roman, 10-point font, using Microsoft Word.

Figures should be numbered consecutively, with titles placed below each figure and formatted in single spacing.

Tables must be numbered consecutively, with titles placed above each table and formatted in single spacing.

Author information should include full names, institutional affiliations, and corresponding email addresses.

Manuscripts should be between 6 to 10 pages in length. Papers exceeding 10 pages will be subject to editorial review for consideration.

Authors are required to use reference management software (e.g., Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote) and follow the APA citation style.

All submissions must be formatted according to the MUBIPA journal template.

Manuscripts must comply with the journal’s Ethical Statement and Copyright and Licensing Policy.
B. Structure of the Manuscript
Manuscripts must be organized according to the following structure:
Title
The title should be written in sentence case, without acronyms or abbreviations, and should clearly reflect the focus of the study.
Abstract
The abstract should present a concise summary of the manuscript (maximum 250 words) and be written in Times New Roman, single-spaced, without citations.
It must briefly describe the background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion of the research.
Keywords
Include 3–5 keywords that accurately reflect the main topics of the paper, separated by semicolons (;).
Main Sections
Articles should follow the IMRaD format: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References.

Introduction:
Explain the significance of the research, define the problem or issue being studied, and discuss the context of prior research. Identify research gaps and describe how the present study addresses them. State hypotheses if applicable. -
Methods:
Describe how the study was conducted, including research design, population and sample, procedures, and tools used. This section should be sufficiently detailed to allow replication. It is usually written in the past tense and passive voice, with subheadings as needed. -
Results and Discussion:
Present findings in the Results section using tables and figures as appropriate. Tables should be labeled and numbered sequentially with captions above, while figures should have captions below.
The Discussion should interpret the results, relate them to previous research, explain implications, discuss limitations, and suggest future research directions. -
Conclusion:
Summarize the main findings, highlighting how they support the study’s objectives and contribute to scientific knowledge. Discuss how the results compare with expectations or previous studies. -
Acknowledgment (if applicable):
Mention individuals, institutions, or funding sources that supported the research. -
References:
Include at least 20 references, with a minimum of five from the last ten years, unless older sources are essential for context. References must follow the APA citation style.
The authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts. The editorial board reserves the right to correct grammar, adjust formatting, and make necessary editorial changes for clarity and consistency.
