Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
The initial review of the submitted manuscript is conducted by the editorial team of Jurnal Ilmu Biologi dan IPA (MUBIPA). During this preliminary evaluation, the editors assess whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope, meets the similarity threshold using Crosscheck–iThenticate, and demonstrates methodological soundness, clarity, and adherence to the journal’s manuscript template.
If the manuscript is considered suitable, it is then sent to at least two anonymous reviewers for a Blind Peer Review.
The reviewers’ comments and recommendations are communicated to the corresponding author, who is responsible for revising the manuscript and providing responses to the reviewers’ feedback. After the revised version is submitted, the editorial team reviews it and discusses the reviewers’ recommendations to determine the final decision.
Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the copyediting and layout editing stages to prepare the camera-ready version for publication. The entire process ensures that published articles meet MUBIPA’s academic and ethical standards.
Review Outcomes
