This research aims to examine the history and culture of traditional weapons used in the Banjar War, preserved at the Lambung Mangkurat Museum, specifically the Banjar parang lantik, the Banjar parang bungkul, and the mariam lela. This study uses a dialectical, evaluation, and actualization approach to understand the dynamics of the weapons' meaning as tools of struggle, symbols of cultural identity, and the historical heritage of the Banjar people. The method used is library research, examining various sources, historical documents, museum archives, and literature related to local culture. The results indicate that these three types of weapons function not only as tools of war but also represent values of courage, local wisdom, and a spirit of resistance against colonialism. Through the evaluation process, a shift in meaning was discovered from practical functions to educational and symbolic values. Meanwhile, actualization is carried out through preservation efforts, utilization in history education, and strengthening Banjar cultural identity in the modern era. This research is expected to enrich the treasury of local history studies and raise awareness among the younger generation about the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
