This study aims to determine the effect of women's empowerment programs on women's political participation in Nias communities. Women's empowerment is an effort to improve women's knowledge, skills, self-confidence, and decision-making abilities, enabling them to participate more actively in political life. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data are planned to be collected through questionnaires distributed to women who meet the research criteria. Women's empowerment programs serve as the independent variable (X), while women's political participation serves as the dependent variable (Y). Political participation is measured through voting, involvement in community or political organizations, participation in community meetings, expressing aspirations to the government, and involvement in decision-making within the community. The data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression, with hypothesis testing conducted using the t-test and the coefficient of determination (R²). This study is expected to provide empirical insights into the effect of women's empowerment programs on political participation and serve as a basis for evaluating and developing empowerment programs that address the needs of women in Nias communities.
