Author Guidelines
A. General Requirements
To meet the minimum standards of Jurnal Ilmu Agama Indonesia (JIGAMNA), all submitted manuscripts must comply with the following criteria:

Language
Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English and must include an abstract and keywords in English. -
Paper Format
Manuscripts should be formatted on A4 paper size. -
Column and Spacing
The text must be typed in two columns, using single line spacing with one space between lines. -
Margins
Page margins must be formatted as follows:-
Top: 1.9 cm

Bottom: 4.13 cm
-
Left: 1.43 cm
-
Right: 1.43 cm
with mirror margins enabled.

Font and Software
Use Times New Roman, 10-point font size, and prepare manuscripts using Microsoft Word. -
Figures and Tables

Figures must be numbered consecutively with titles placed below each figure (single-spaced).

Tables must also be numbered consecutively, with titles placed above each table (single-spaced).

Author Information
Author names should include complete institutional affiliations and corresponding email addresses. -
Length of Manuscript
Manuscripts should be between 6 to 10 pages in length. Submissions exceeding 10 pages will be reviewed and considered at the editor’s discretion. -
References and Citation Style
Authors must use reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote, and follow the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style (7th Edition). -
Template Requirement
Manuscripts must be formatted according to the official JIGAMNA template. -
Ethical and Copyright Compliance
Submissions must comply with the journal’s Ethical Statement and Copyright and Licensing Policy.
B. Structure of the Manuscript
Manuscripts must be organized in the following structure:
1. Title
The title should be written in sentence case, clear, specific, and without acronyms or abbreviations. It must accurately reflect the focus and content of the study.
2. Abstract
The abstract must provide a concise summary of the research (maximum 250 words) in Times New Roman, single-spaced, and without citations. It should include:

Background or purpose of the study

Problem statement

Research methods
-
Results and key findings
-
Main conclusions
3. Keywords
Include 3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the study.
4. Article Sections (IMRaD Format)
a. Introduction
Explain the background, importance, and context of the research. Present the research problem, review relevant literature, identify knowledge gaps, and describe the study’s objectives. If applicable, include the hypothesis at the end of this section.
b. Methods
Describe how the research was conducted, including population, sample, procedures, instruments, materials, and data analysis techniques. The methods should be detailed enough to allow replication. Use past tense and passive voice.
c. Results and Discussion
Present findings clearly and systematically using tables and figures (labeled and numbered separately).

Results should focus on key data and findings.

Discussion should interpret results, compare them with previous studies, highlight limitations, and suggest directions for future research.
d. Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and implications of the research. Explain whether the results support the initial hypothesis, how they relate to prior studies, and how they contribute to advancing scientific knowledge.
e. Acknowledgment (if applicable)
Mention individuals, institutions, or funding agencies that contributed to the research.
f. References
List all cited works according to the APA 7th Edition style.

A minimum of 20 references is required.

At least five (5) references must be from the last ten (10) years, unless older sources are foundational to the study.

The accuracy and completeness of references are the authors’ responsibility, though the editorial team may edit for consistency and grammar.
