Copyright and Licensing Policy

Authors who publish with Jurnal Ilmu Agama Indonesia (JIGAMNA) agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Retention and Licensing
    Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The published work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
    This license permits others to share, adapt, and redistribute the work, provided that proper attribution is given to the author(s) and the original publication in JIGAMNA is acknowledged. Derivative works must be distributed under the same license.

  2. Non-Exclusive Distribution
    Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work (e.g., uploading it to an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided that they clearly acknowledge its initial publication in Jurnal Ilmu Agama Indonesia (JIGAMNA).

  3. Self-Archiving and Online Posting
    Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, academic networking sites, or personal websites) before, during, and after the submission process.
    This practice can foster productive scholarly exchanges and increase the work’s visibility and citation impact earlier in the research lifecycle.
