Pengabdian Akademisi Melalui Penguatan Perencanaan Pembangunan Bidang Ekonomi Sebagai Pembanding Pada Forum Perangkat Daerah

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to strengthen the quality of regional economic development planning through the involvement of academics as resource persons and reviewers in the Regional Apparatus Forum for the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of Gunungsitoli City. The activity employed a participatory approach consisting of coordination, presentations, discussions, evaluations, and the provision of recommendations on development programs proposed by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs). The implementation method included preparation, forum implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and documentation stages. The results demonstrated that the involvement of academics positively contributed to improving the quality of regional economic planning by refining performance indicators, strengthening inter-agency program synchronization, promoting evidence-based planning, and establishing more focused development priorities. Furthermore, the activity enhanced the capacity of regional government officials in preparing planning documents that are more effective, efficient, and accountable. Sustainable collaboration between higher education institutions and local governments is expected to support the implementation of good governance and promote sustainable regional economic development.
