Sistem Among sebagai Landasan Filosofis Pendekatan Deep Learning dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

The shift in learning orientation toward Deep Learning requires an educational foundation that focuses not only on the quality of the learning process but also on the holistic development of students. In this context, the thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara through the Among System are relevant to be studied as a philosophical foundation for the application of Deep Learning in Indonesian language learning. This study aims to analyze the philosophical principles of the Among System and synthesize them with the orientation of Deep Learning in Indonesian language learning. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a conceptual study method through an analysis of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts and a review of relevant literature on the Among System and Deep Learning. The results of the study reveal six main principles of the Among System: education as guidance, student freedom, harmony between foundation and circumstances, the role of educators as mentors, role models and experience, and language as a means of human and cultural development. These principles intersect with conscious, meaningful, and joyful learning, as well as the stages of understanding, application, and reflection. This synthesis demonstrates that the Among System can strengthen the philosophical foundation of Deep Learning in Indonesian language learning, which is contextual, humanistic, and oriented toward the holistic development of students.
